6th/7th Grade: The 6th and 7th Grade Lady Bears made the trek to South Adams on Monday night, and returned home with a win - defeating the Starfires 24-15. The Bears held South Adams scoreless in the first period and to 4 first half points. Scoring for MC was spread evenly across the board, with Landry Taylor leading the way with 8. Mila Morris added 6, Lucy Huston and Izzy McGrath had 4 each and Gracie McCreery contributed 2. All 12 players saw the floor and contributed to the win. The Lady Bears move to 8-2 on the season and play at home this Thursday where they will look to avenge their recent loss to Selma in the MEC tournament. Go Bears! 8th Grade: The 8th grade Lady Bears pulled out a Win vs. a pesky South Adams team. The Golden Bears move to 12-0 on the season and are looking forward to playing in Hall Gym Thursday against the Selma Braves.
