7th Grade: The 7th grade bears lost to a very tough Delta team 43-28. This Delta team beat a Southside team, that beat us pretty bad. The bears were led in scoring by miles gross with 16, Carter Lucies and Alex Middleton each added 5. 8th Grade: The Monroe Central 8th Grade Boys Basketball team suffered a heartbreaking defeat against a good Delta team Monday night, 46-45. The Bears fought hard all night long, as the game went back and forth all game. The Bears were led in scoring by Luke Morgan with 29, while Myles Oliphant and Weston Grove each added 5. The Bears return to action Tuesday, January 2nd at conference rival Shenandoah.
