7th Grade: The 7th grade boys lost to Wes Del 36-30. Bears will be back in action on Monday at Delta. Go bears! 8th Grade: The Monroe Central 8th Grade Boys Basketball team defeated conference foe Wes-Del Thursday night, 47-39. The Bears had a terrific team effort, as they battled all night to secure the conference victory. The Bears were led in scoring by Luke Morgan with 26 points, while Eli Friend and Peyton Chamness added 6 a piece. Cooper Huston scored 5 points, and Weston Grove added 4. The Bears are back in action on Monday night against Delta on the road.
