Both Junior High Boys Basketball teams fall to Lapel

7th Grade: The 7th grade boys basketball team lost to lapel 35-24. The bears were led in scoring by Miles gross with 12, Carter Lucies and Alex Middleton each added 6. The bears are back in action tomorrow at Wes-Del. 8th Grade: The Monroe Central 8th Grade Boys Basketball team suffered a tough defeat at the hands of Lapel Wednesday by a score of 50-28. The Bears had the game at tied at 17-17 at the half, battling all 4 quarters. Luke Morgan led the Bears in scoring with 23. The Bears return to action Thursday at MEC opponent Wes-Del.
