7th Grade: The 7th grade Bears came out hot taking an 18-0 lead after the 1st quarter. The bears did not give up a point until the 3rd quarter. Everyone contributed to a 40-3 win. The bears were lead in scoring by Miles Gross and Dallas Frantz with 10 each. Alex Middleton and Logan Keith each added 6. The bears improve to 5-3. Next up is a tough Lapel team on Wednesday @ lapel at 5:30! 8th Grade: The Monroe Central 8th Grade Boys Basketball team defeated Union City Monday night by a score of 50-40 to improve to 5-4 on the season. A great offensive effort fueled the Bears to victory, matching a season high in points scored. Luke Morgan led the Bears in scoring with 31 points, as Peyton Chamness added 6. Other Bears entered the scoring column as well with Jed Ferguson (5), Eli Friend (4), Gabe McComb (3) and Cooper Huston (2). The Bears return to action Wednesday at Lapel.
