7th Grade: The 7th grade boys basketball team lost to Hagerstown 30-27. The bears were led in scoring by Carter Lucies with 14, and followed by Miles Gross with 7. The bears are back in action Thursday for a half only against Blue River following the 8th grade game. 8th Grade: The Monroe Central 8th Grade Boys Basketball team suffered a tough loss Wednesday to Hagerstown by a score of 38-29. The Bears battled all 4 Quarters, but couldn’t secure the win. Luke Morgan led the Bears in scoring with 29 points. The Bears are back in action Thursday night at home vs Blue River Valley. Tip-off is 6:00 in Hall Gym.
