7th Grade: The bears lost a tough one to the Yorktown Tigers 42-36. We were led in scoring by Miles Gross with 24 points, Alex Middleton had 4, while Collin Baker and Carter Lucies each had 3. The bears will be back in action in hall gym against Driver @ 6pm. 8th Grade: The Monroe Central 8th Grade Boys Basketball team lost Thursday night to a very good Yorktown team 43-27 to fall to 1-1 on the young season. The Bears battled throughout the first 3 quarters keeping the game tight, but it slipped away at the end. The Bears return to action Monday vs rival Driver at home in Hall Gym.
