Monroe Central dropped their home opener to Frankton on Saturday night. The Lady Bears fell by the score of 52-32. The Bears battled and cut the Frankton lead down to 7 late in the 3rd quarter but wouldn’t get any closer as the Eagles pulled away throughout the 4th quarter. Sydney Patterson lead the Bears with a team high 11 points and 3 assists. Kimber Abshear added 10 points and 9 rebounds while Addy Puckett finished the game with 7 points and 4 steals. The Lady Bears look to bounce back on the road Tuesday night against Daleville for a 7pm Varsity only contest.
