The Blackhawks from Cowan traveled to the Bear Den for a conference matchup this evening. The JV Golden Bears got off to a strong start and won set 1 (25-23). Cowan fought back in set 2 to win 19-25. The Golden Bears stuck with it in set 3 and won the match 15-13. Freshman Gracie McCreery had 9 kills, 2 receptions, 1 assist, and 2 digs. Freshman Callie Grove had 2 aces, 6 kills, 9 receptions, 1 assist, and 5 digs. The Golden Bears will be back in action on Tuesday (9/8/26) when they travel to Winchester for a matchup with the Falcons. JV is scheduled to begin at 6pm.
