The Golden Bear's football season kicked off with a big win over county rival Winchester 30-14 Friday night. This was the first ever match-up in football. The Bear's had many bright spots Friday. Elijah Taylor was outstanding in the kicking game and posted an 18 yard field goal to wrap the game up. The Bear's had zero fumbles on the night with one turnover by interception. One of the most impressive things about Friday's game was the crowd, especially the awesome student section. Thanks to all that came out and celebrated the Friday night lights. You were awesome!
