The Golden Bear volleyball team traveled to Northeastern this evening for a JV and Varsity matchup. The JV team fought hard in this match but came up just short as the Knights took the 0-2 victory with scores of 21-25, and 25-27. Some notable stats were from Freshman Gracie McCreery with 1 Ace, 4 Kills, 4 Receptions, 2 Assists, and 3 Digs. Freshman Haidyn Knott had 3 Aces, 2 Kills, 7 Assists, and 9 Digs. Sophomore Libero Grace Bootcheck had 22 Receptions and 9 Digs. The JV and Varsity teams will be back in action on Monday (8/31) when they travel to Randolph Southern for a conference matchup with the Rebels. The JV game is scheduled to begin at 6pm.
