The Raiders of Southern Wells came to the Bear Den for a JV/Varsity matchup on 8/25/26. The JV Golden Bears got off to a quick start and won set 1 with a score of 25-19. The Raiders fought back in set 2 to win 23-25. The Golden Bears weren't done and made sure to capitalize, winning the match in set 3, 17-15. Some stats to mention were from Freshman Gracie McCreery having 3 aces, 8 kills, 4 assists, and 6 digs. Freshman Haidyn Knott had 2 aces, 3 kills, 12 assists, and 9 digs. Junior Kyra Brockman had 4 aces, 2 kills, and 10 digs. Freshman Calli Grove had 3 aces, 5 kills, 10 receptions, and 3 digs.
