The MC Jr High Cross Country teams gave their all in a 3 way meet against Jay County and Wes-Del on Thursday evening. Many Personal Records were earned as these teams continue to run faster each week. Both the Boys and the Girls teams came in 2nd place. Boys scores were: Jay Co 20, MC 47, Wes-Del 59. Girls scores were: Jay Co 20, MC 51, Wes-Del 67. Running a PR time and leading the Boys was Jed Ferguson with a time of 11:56, coming in 4th. Alexander Coe finished 7th. Adrin Milhollin and Avan Johnson ran PRs as well, finishing 9th and 12th. Ashton Dance finished 15th. Will Hinshaw and Devin Baker completed the top 7 while earning personal best times and coming in 20th and 21st. Braxton Wright and Caleb Bailey had strong races. Alex Sides surpassed his best time by an impressive 2:30! Aberee Ervin ran a PR 13:59, coming in 7th place. Abby Thomas finished 8th. Brynlee Patterson ran over a minute faster than her previous best to come in 9th. Lillie Moery again passed her competitors as she moved from 13th to 11th in the last 200 meters. Mila Morris and Brynlee Dumpert finished well at 16th and 17th. Oaklie Davis completed the top 7, coming in 20th place. Scarlett Davis wasn't far behind her big sister, coming in 21st. Cheyanne Fortreide, Amaryah Lloyd, and Hannah Fortreide all earned their personal record times.
