The Jr High Cross Country teams faced some tough competition at the South Adams Invitational. The Boys team finished 8th out of 16 teams and the Girls were 7th out of 13 teams. Leading the MC boys was Jed Ferguson, coming in with a PR time in 6th place overall. Out of the 173 runners, Alexander Coe was 18th. Adrin Milhollin ran a personal best, coming in 44th place. Avan Johnson had a great race, finishing 57th. Ashton Dance and Will Hinshaw raced to the finish, coming in 80th and 81st. Devin Baker earned a PR and was 85th overall. Braxten Wright, Caleb Bailey, and Alex Sides finished well for the Bears. Abby Thomas lead the Girls team with her best time ever and coming in 12th place. Abree Ervin finished with a PR as well in 16th place. Brylie Tinsman finished 33rd out of 152 girls. Lillie Moery finished 39th. Brynlee Dumpert had a PR run, coming in 69th place. Mila Morris and Brynlee Patterson finished 72nd and 73rd. Charlee Morris, Scarlett Davis, Cheyanne Fortriede and Haidyn Dumpert all earned personal bests. Oaklie Davis, Megan DeVoss, Avery Kehoe, Makayla Daniels, Amaryah Lloyd and Hannah Fortreide all had great races as well.
