Alexa Tinsman A Difficult Out As Monroe Central JH Defeat CMS 2026 By GameChanger Media Alexa Tinsman collected four hits in four at bats, as Monroe Central JH defeated CMS 2026 7-5 on Wednesday at 1900 N Grand Ave. Tinsman doubled in the sixth inning, singled in the seventh inning, singled in the third inning, and singled in the fifth inning. Monroe Central JH opened the scoring in the first after Haidyn Knott tripled, scoring one run. Alexis Mays grounded into a double play, which helped CMS 2026 tie the game at one in the bottom of the third. Monroe Central JH took the lead in the top of the fifth. Knott singled, scoring two runs, to give Monroe Central JH the advantage, 3-1. CMS 2026 tied the game in the bottom of the fifth thanks to a double by Sammie Lakes, a single by Mays, and a line out by Carly Green. In the top of the sixth, Monroe Central JH broke up the tie when Ellie Lanter tripled, scoring one run. Then a single by Alayna Dickson followed to extend the lead to 5-3. Knott earned the win for Monroe Central JH. The righty allowed four hits and two runs (zero earned) over two and two-thirds innings, striking out two and walking none. Rylynn Conley took the loss for CMS 2026. The starting pitcher went seven innings, surrendering seven runs (six earned) on 13 hits, striking out 12 and walking four. Delainee Whitehead started in the circle for Monroe Central JH. The hurler surrendered two hits and four runs (two earned) over four and one-third innings, striking out six and walking six. Monroe Central JH amassed 13 hits in the game. Knott provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Monroe Central JH with two runs batted in. The cleanup hitter went 2-for-4 on the day. Lanter and Brynlee Dumpert each collected multiple hits for Monroe Central JH. Lanter and Tinsman each stole multiple bases for Monroe Central JH. Monroe Central JH ran wild on the base paths, accumulating seven stolen bases for the game. Monroe Central JH turned one double play in the game. Macy Smith, Lakes, Charli Ficklin, Green, Mays, and Jefferson each collected one hit for CMS 2026. Mays went 1-for-4 at the plate and led the team with two runs batted in. Ellie Bentley led CMS 2026 with two walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, tallying six walks for the game. Smith stole two bases. CMS 2026 stole six bases in the game.
