On Saturday morning, the Jr High Cross Country teams ran against 16 other schools at the Randolph Southern Invitational. The Girls' team won with an impressive score of 26, nearly 50 points ahead of 2nd place. The Boys' team earned 2nd place in the meet. Abree Ervin finished 3rd with Abby Thomas less than a second behind in 4th place. Brylie Tinsman and Lillie Moery finished in 8th and 9th places followed by Mila Morris in 11th place. Brynlee Dumpert and Megan DeVoss completed the top 7. Scarlett Davis, Avery Kehoe, Hannah Fortreide, Amaryah Lloyd and Cheyanne Fortreide all earned season best times. Jed Ferguson finished 3rd in the boys race. Alexander Coe ran well to finish 7th. Adrin Milhollin finished in 30th place, followed by Avan Johnson in 39th place. Will Hinshaw finished in 62nd place. Devin Baker and Braxton Wright completed the top 7 in the field of 160 boys.
