The Golden Bears went up against Union City in the Sectional 56 Championship game. The first quarter was back and forth but the Golden Bears lead 11-10 at the end of the quarter. The second quarter wasn’t much different than the first and the Golden Bears went into halftime with the score tied at 21. The Golden Bears pulled away in the third quarter gaining a lead of 34-25 at the end of the third. The Golden Bears remained in control though the fourth quarter to win back to back sectional championships with a final score of 53-39. Team scores are as follows: Ta’ Shaun Beatty- 21; Eli Friend- 15; Luke Morgan- 11; Jackson Konkle- 6. The Golden Bears will play the Regional Championship at Lapel. Go Bears!
