Monroe Central

The Monroe Central boys' and girls' cross-country teams competed at Pendleton Heights in the Arabian Roundup on Tuesday. The boys' team finished 6th, with Eli Chamberlain leading the team placing 6th. Lane Dance placed 24th with Jackson Wines and Zadok Lloyd not far behind. Nathan Daniels, Cory Brown, and Wyatt Daniels also ran well. The girls' team placed 4th with Addison Coe placing 8th. Avery Thomas, Katie Osborne, Andi Watson, and Gracie Baker were not far behind, placing 17th, 19th, 26th, and 35th. Mackenzie Pryor and Addy Pucket also ran well for the bears. The team will compete on Saturday in the Marion Invite at Indiana Weslyn starting with the boys at 11:50 and the girls following at 12:20.
