JV/V Volleyball splits at Elwood

MCs JV squad opened the season with a win against Elwood. Liz Chamberlain led the golden bears with 5 digs. Karmen Summers led the team with 5 kills. The varsity squad fell to Elwood in a hard fought battle losing 23-25, 22-25, 26-28. Sydney Patterson led the team with 12 digs. Maggie Haney led the team in the front row with 10 kills and 2 blocks. The golden bears will play Union City at home on Tuesday.
