The Varsity Golden Bears started the new year with a matchup against Lincoln. The Golden Bears started slow leading 13-6 at the end of the first quarter but picked things up in the second quarter. The Golden Bears went into halftime leading 33-9. The Golden Bears kept things rolling in the second half leading 49-14 and defeating Lincoln with a final score of 63-22. All team members provided great minutes. Team scores are as follows: Luke Morgan- 22; Jackson Konkle- 16; Ta’Shaun Beatty- 13; Eli Friend- 5; Peyton Chamness- 3; LaDainian Isom- 2; Kyler Bogue- 2. The Golden Bears will be back in action next Thursday for the Randolph County tournament. Go Bears!
