The Varsity Golden Bears went up against the Frankton Eagles Tuesday night. The Golden Bears and Eagles traded baskets for most of the first quarter ending with the Golden Bears leading 9-8. The Eagles broke out in the second quarter and went into halftime leading 29-15. The Golden Bears continued to compete in the second half but ultimately fell to the Eagles 56-35 for their first loss of the season. Team scores are as follows: Ta’Shaun Beatty- 24; Jackson Konkle- 5; Griffin Gannom- 2; Peyton Chamness- 2; Eli Friend- 2. The Golden Bears will look to get back on track Saturday vs. the Wes-Del Warriors. Go Bears!
