The Junior Varsity Golden Bears faced off against the Frankton Eagles Tuesday night. This was a barn burner to the very end. The Golden Bears got into rhythm in the second quarter and went into halftime tied 14-14 with the Eagles. The Golden Bears got down early the third quarter to start the second half but never went away. The fourth quarter was back and forth between the Golden Bears and Eagles, being tied 37-37 with under 30 seconds to go in the game. The Eagles ultimately landed the final shot that would win the game 39-37 giving the Golden Bears their first loss of the season. This was a hard fought game and all team members played very well. Team scores are as follows: Cooper Huston- 9; Caden Dance- 9; Connor Baker- 5; Corbin Lester- 5; Miles Gross- 4; Maddox Taylor- 3; Weston Grove- 2. The Golden Bears will look to get the winning streak going again on Saturday vs. the Wes-Del Warriors. Go Bears!
