7th Grade: Monroe Central’s 7th-grade team defeated Daleville 38–17, using strong rebounding and steady defensive pressure to take control of the game. The Bears limited Daleville’s chances by cleaning up the boards and forcing turnovers that led to good scoring opportunities. Their effort on defense set the pace early and carried through all four quarters. Overall, it was a confident, well-rounded performance on both ends of the floor. 8th Grade: The Golden Bears hosted Daleville for their second home game of the season. The boys got out to a slow start getting down 17-1 and going into halftime down 17-4. The boys came out in the second half aggressive on defense forcing several turnovers. They were able to tie the game up at 19 going into the fourth quarter behind 3 straight 3 pointers from Grayson Wiles. The boys fought hard in the 4th quarter but came up short losing 30-29. The team was led in scoring by Knox Myers with 10 followed by Grayson Wiles with 9.
