The MCHS girls golf team competed at Legacy Hills in LaPorte today for the New Prairie Invitational. Leading the way for the Wolves was sophomore Emma Nelson who carded a score of 115. This was a 20 stroke improvement over last year's showing. Senior Makenna Nowatzke had a seven stroke improvement over last year with a score of 128. Other scores for City were Abigail Shanks with 129, Haley Barnes with 135, and Livy Swistek with 144. Penn High School won the event with a team score of 308. Individual medalist for the event was Northwood's Sophie Richmond who shot 67. The next match for the Wolves will be on Monday versus South Central at Municipal North Course.
