Mooresville Finishes 4th at Mid-State

The Mid-State Conference held their conference tournament today at Winding River Golf Course. With the sun shining and the temperature in the low 70’s, it was a perfect day for some golf. After the last shot was holed and all the scores were added, Franklin Community took home the team Championship with score of 326. Martinsville shot a solid 345 to finish 2nd. Plainfield’s 358 took 3rd, Mooresville finished 4th with a 366, Decatur Central took 5th with a 370, the host school Perry Meridian finished 6th with a 414, Whiteland took 7th with a 422, and Greenwood finished 8th with a 471. Plainfield Junior Annabelle Hacker was the low medalist with a 76. For the Pioneers, Julianna Bell shot an 84 to earn all-conference for the 2nd straight year. Also scoring for Mooresville was Addison Farley (92) Elizabeth Tiley (95) and Karleigh Reese (96). The Pioneers are back in action Saturday, when they travel to Battleground Golf Course and the Lady Broncho Invite.
