Tonight was a night where home course advantage reared its head, working against the Pioneers. Smock golf course is known for its blind shots and a creek that comes into play on 4 of the 9 holes on the front side. And the Flashes from Franklin Central knew just how to play those shots and avoid the creek to a score of 179. That was good enough to beat Mooresville who shot a 196. The Pioneers found the creek a few times too many. Elizabeth Tiley led the Pioneers tonight with a solid round of 46. The Pioneers are back in action in the Terre Haute South Invite at Rea Park.
