The Girl's Golf team kicked off their season Monday afternoon at Deer Creek Golf Course, when they played in the Plainfield Invite. Zionsville won the Invite with a score of 272 showing why they are the number 1 ranked team in the state. The Pioneers finished sixth with a team score of 384. Junior Julianna Bell led the team with a score of 89. Senior Addison Farley shot a 94, Sophomore Emily West shot a 99, Freshman Karleigh Reese shot a 102 in her first high school varsity match, and Freshman Elizabeth Tiley shot a 104. The Pioneers are back in action Wednesday evening at Heartland Crossing. Match starts at 4pm.
