The Mooresville Pioneers Junior Varsity Baseball Team wrapped up the 2025 season on Thursday night with a 3-2 home win over the Whiteland Warriors. Thursday nights extra innings win was the Mooresville Pioneers Junior Varsity's tenth win of the season as they finished the season 10-6-1. Three of the five runs in the ballgame were scored in the first two innings as the Pioneers lead 2-1 after two. Whiteland plated a run in the top of the sixth inning to tie the game at 2-2. Neither team was able to score in the seventh inning which sent the final game of the regular season to extra innings. Mooresville kept the Warriors scoreless in the top half of the eighth giving the Pioneers an opportunity to win in the bottom half of the inning. In the bottom of the eighth Jack Hathaway found his was on base and advanced to second on a balk by the Whiteland pitcher. Kohen Elliot found himself in a full count and was able to single to right field scoring Jack Hathaway for the Pioneers tenth win of the season.
