The Mooresville Pioneers JV tennis team traveled to Whiteland today to compete in the Whiteland JV Tournament, facing off against three opponents. In the opening match, Mooresville fell to host Whiteland 5-0. The team then faced Franklin, dropping the match 4-1, before finishing the day with a 4-1 loss to Roncalli. Despite the tough competition, Abby Bolton, Katie Taylor, and Lydia Vanover were each able to earn individual victories, highlighting bright spots in an otherwise challenging day. While wins were hard to come by, the tournament provided valuable match experience for the young JV squad. Today’s matches marked the final outing for the 2025 JV team, which finishes the season with an overall record of 4-12-1. With many underclassmen gaining important playing time, the future looks promising as the team turns its attention to the 2026 season.
