Mooresville High School Athletic Department Pendill Wealth Management Athletes of the Week April 28th – May 3rd The Mooresville High School Athletic Department is pleased to announce the Pendill Wealth Management Athletes of the Week Award for the week of April 28th – May 3rd. The award will be given to one female and one male student-athletes who displayed athletic excellence in all areas of competition during the previous week of athletic contests. Pendill Wealth Management is a proud to recognize student athletes for their athletic achievements each week while supporting the Mooresville Athletic Department. The Mooresville Athletic Department is honored to partner with BJ Pendill to recognize the Mooresville High School student athlete of the week. Athlete of the Week – Unified Track and Field – Aleah Marine, Sophomore Mooresville High School is proud to recognize Aleah Marine as this week’s Athlete of the Week for her contributions to the Unified Track and Field team. Aleah has been a standout all season—not just for her athletic ability, but for her leadership, energy, and team-first attitude. She is always the first to volunteer when a runner or jumper is needed, and her positive spirit is felt by everyone around her. Whether she’s competing or cheering from the sidelines, Aleah motivates and uplifts her teammates every step of the way. This past week, Aleah delivered a clutch performance at the Mid-State Conference Meet, placing first in her flight of the long jump and helping the team narrowly defeat Greenwood in the Girls 4x100 meter relay. Her efforts played a crucial role in securing Mooresville’s fourth consecutive Mid-State Conference Championship in Unified Track and Field. Athlete of the Week – Boys Volleyball – Seth Conner, Senior This week’s Athlete of the week honors go to Seth Conner for his outstanding contributions to the Boys Volleyball team during the 2025 season. A senior and last year's team MVP, Seth has continued to be a dominant force as a middle blocker, delivering consistent performances on both offense and defense. As the Pioneers head into the final week of the regular season with a 10-12 record, Seth has been instrumental in keeping the team competitive and energized. In the first half of the season alone, Seth maintained an impressive 93% service rate, racking up 10 aces. Offensively, he’s been incredibly efficient, posting 56 kills while committing the fewest errors on the team and recording a solid .162 hitting percentage. On defense, he’s been just as reliable, contributing 25 blocks, along with 6 assists and 22 digs, showcasing his all-around skill and court awareness. With matchups this week against Heritage Christian, Beech Grove, and Terre Haute North for Senior Night, Seth will look to help the Pioneers close out the regular season on a high note.
