- Directions to Lake of the Woods Cross Country Site (Buses enter off of LOW Rd): I-74 exit #174 Prairieview Road. Go North ½ mile to the 4way stop. Turn left (west) go ½ mile to the stop sign at the bottom of the hill. Turn left (south) go ¼ mile to the top of the hill, and turn right into the main entrance of the park. Spectator Parking: The park district asks that there is NO parking on the grass. Suggestions: Park in the smaller lots spread out around the course. The belltower lot is great for those who have good mobility. There is a path that follows the power lines and will bring you to the starting area. For those with limited mobility, there will be spaces that we have reserved for those who need it. These are closer to the starting line and can be found by asking a meet greeter at the park. Restroom- Located by the Old Oak Stump, along the road. Water fountain- Finish line area, along the road Note: There will not be a concession stand.
