Loogootee Jr-Sr High School

On Saturday, the Loogootee Lady Lions Varsity Volleyball team traveled to Castle High School for the annual Warrick Invite — a tournament the Lady Lions have long participated in. This year’s field featured a tough round-robin of 4A schools, including Castle, Bloomington North, and Terre Haute South. Loogootee fell to Castle (9–25, 13–25), battled Terre Haute South in three sets (14–25, 25–15, 10–15), and came up short against Bloomington North (10–25, 23–25). The Lady Lions now sit at 7-16 on the season and return home Monday night to host Wood Memorial for Senior Night. They’ll then close out regular season play with trips to South Knox on Tuesday and Bedford North Lawrence on Thursday.
