Loogootee Jr-Sr High School

The Junior High Lady Lions traveled to Dubois on Monday night for a full slate of matches. The 6th grade opened the evening with a hard-fought 25-21, 25-23 win, improving their record to 8-3 with the conference victory. The 7th grade followed with a strong performance of their own, earning a 25-15, 25-22 victory to move to 12-7 on the season. A “B” set was also played, with Loogootee coming out on top 25-13. The 8th grade, fresh off their Blue Chip Conference championship, stumbled out of the gate with an 18-25 loss in the first set. They rebounded with a dominant 25-10 win in the second but fell short in the third, 8-15, dropping their record to 14-7. All three teams are back in action tonight as they travel to Barr-Reeve.
