In a three-set thriller of a championship game against Barr-Reeve, our 8th grade Lady Lions have brought home the Volleyball Blue-Chip Conference championship for the first time since 2018! The Lady Lions opened the day with a 25-12, 25-12 victory over the North Knox Lady Warriors and followed it up with a 25-19, 25-16 win over the Wood Memorial Lady Trojans. The Lady Lions came out firing in the championship match over the Barr-Reeve Lady Vikings, winning the first set 25-13, Barr-Reeve battled back winning the next set 25-18, and in the third decisive set, the Lady Lions faced an 8-12 deficit before rattling off 7 straight points to win it 15-12!
