The Junior High Lady Lions were on the road Wednesday night, taking on the North Knox Lady Warriors. The 7th grade opened the night with a solid 25-18, 25-16 victory. The 8th grade followed with a dominant performance in a Blue Chip Conference Tournament preview, winning 25-12, 25-13. With the sweep, both teams improve their records to 11-6 on the season. The 8th grade squad now shifts focus to Saturday’s Blue Chip Conference Tournament at South Knox. They’ll open against North Knox at 11:00 a.m., with a win advancing them to face the winner of Northeast Dubois and Wood Memorial at noon. A victory there would put the Lady Lions in the Championship at 1:00 p.m. The 7th grade will be back in action Monday night as they travel to Dubois.
