The Lady Lion Volleyball teams were back at home Tuesday night as they hosted the Southridge Lady Raiders. Varsity got off to a slow start, dropping the opening set 13-25. The Lady Lions responded with a strong 25-12 win in the second, but Southridge regained momentum and closed out the match 25-20, 25-13. The loss moves Loogootee to 6-11 on the season as they now prepare for their “Volley for a Cure” game Friday night at Barr-Reeve. In the JV match, the Lady Lions battled in two tight sets but ultimately fell 23-25, 22-25, dropping their record to 4-6.
