On Monday night, the 7th and 8th grade Lady Lions hosted Bloomfield at Lee’s Gym in two hard-fought matches filled with long rallies and momentum swings. The 7th grade team came up just short, falling 19-25, 23-25. The 8th grade squad pushed their match to three sets, taking the opener 25-20 before dropping the final two 21-25 and 12-15. With the results, both teams now sit at 10-6 on the season. Meanwhile, the 6th grade team traveled to Washington for a rare best-of-five matchup with the Lady Hatchets. The Lady Lions took care of business in straight sets, winning 25-15, 25-19, 25-17, improving their record to 7-3. The Lady Lions are back in action Wednesday night as they travel to North Knox.
