Loogootee Jr-Sr High School

The Lady Lions hosted county rival Shoals on Friday night in the Battle of Martin County in front of a good sized crowd. The Varsity match was a thriller, with Loogootee holding late leads in multiple sets, but ultimately falling in three: 24-26, 13-25, 23-25. The loss moves the Varsity record to 6-9 on the season. The JV squad dropped the opening set 13-25 but bounced back in impressive fashion, taking the next two 25-12 and 15-12 to secure the match. With the comeback win, JV improves to 4-5 on the year.
