The Lady Lions Junior High Volleyball teams had a big night on Thursday, earning three wins over the South Knox Lady Spartans. The 6th grade squad opened the evening with a 25-18, 25-16 victory, improving their record to 4-2 on the year. The team now looks ahead with excitement to Saturday’s Invitational at JBA. The 7th grade followed with a strong 2-0 win, 25-21 and 25-18, pushing their record to 10-5. A 7th grade “B” set was also played afterward, where the Lady Lions came out on top in a tight 26-24 finish. The night was capped off by the 8th grade’s dominant 25-17, 25-9 performance, also moving them to 10-5 on the season. The 7th and 8th grade teams return to action Monday when they host Bloomfield at Lee’s Gym.
