Loogootee Jr-Sr High School

Last night, the Loogootee Junior High Lady Lions hit the road to take on Forest Park. The 7th grade squad started off with a tough first set loss, 22-25, but bounced back in dominant fashion to take the next two sets 25-10 and 15-8. With the win, their record improves to 7-5 on the season. The 8th grade match featured three highly competitive sets with momentum swinging back and forth throughout. Despite their fight, the Lady Lions came up just short, falling 17-25, 25-23, 12-15, bringing their record to 5-3. All three teams — 6th, 7th, and 8th grade — will be back in action Thursday night as they travel to Washington. On Saturday, the 8th grade will get the opportunity to compete in the Wabash Valley Tournament at Terre Haute South.
