Our 8th grade team battled their way through the Wabash Valley Invite today, finishing 2–2 and making a run to the Silver Bracket Championship. Following this the 8th grade is 10-4 on the season. W vs. Clay City — 25-12, 25-14 L vs. Honey Creek — 14-25, 10-25 W vs. Otter Creek — 24-26, 25-17, 15-8 L vs. North Clay — 5-25, 25-10, 9-15 They ran into a big and very talented Honey Creek team in pool play, then showed some serious fight the rest of the day. After a rough first set against North Clay, these girls flipped the script with a 25-10 second-set win and battled all the way to 15 in the third.
