The Loogootee Lions tennis team moved to 9-2 on the season Monday night when they topped Linton 5-0. #1 Singles player Cooper VanHoy beat Owen Smith 6-0, 6-1. At #2 Singles Grayson Kluesner beat Banx Mathis 6-0, 6-0 and Knox Jeffers beat Xander Kenworthy 6-0, 6-0 at the #3 Singles spot. In doubles action Emmet Graber and Gabe Walton beat Ian Mauder and Silas Nagy 6-3, 6-3 at #1 Doubles. At #2 Doubles Reed Brittain and Carter Downey won 6-0, 6-2 over Landon Tharp and Conner Hall. The Lions will be back in action on Thursday when they host Evansville North at the Rick Graves Tennis Complex.
