Loogootee Jr-Sr High School

The Loogootee Lions Cross Country Team ran in the Washington Invitational this past Saturday. The boys team finished in fifth place and were led by Mosby Jones, who was credited with an 11th place finish with a time of 19:23. The five runners who scored for the Lions were Mosby Jones, Bode Graber, Jacob Venters, Broc Kerns, and Jackson Lengacher. In the girls race, Reese Gibson led the Lions as she finished in 10th place with a time of 23:40. Kalotta Stockhammer ,an exchange student from Germany, ran in her first cross country meet and completed the course with a very respectable time of 29:59. The Lions will be back in action this Saturday as they travel to South Knox.
