What a performance by the Logoottee Varsity Men’s Tennis team! The Lions came out strong and earned a commanding 5-0 victory over the South Knox Spartans on Tuesday night. In singles, Cooper VanHoy battled through two tight sets, winning both in tiebreakers, 7-6 (7-5), 7-6 (7-5). Grayson Kluesner followed with a convincing 6-4, 6-1 win, while Knox Jeffers closed out singles with a hard-fought 6-3, 7-6 (7-3) victory. The doubles teams continued the momentum. Gabe Walton and Emmett Graber earned a solid 7-5, 6-4 win, while Reed Brittain and Carter Downey showed great resilience after dropping the first set, rallying to win 3-6, 6-3, 6-3. A complete team effort from start to finish! JV battled tonight , but ultimately fell 2-4. They showed great determination and team effort. The Lions return to action on Thursday night for a match with Washington.
