Loogootee Jr-Sr High School

(Terre Haute, IN) Three Loogootee Middle School track and field athletes headed to the Indiana State Gibson Track & Field Complex on Saturday to participate in the state middle school meet. 8th graders Knox Jeffers; Hiram Tedrow; and Brylee Bateman all represented Lion Athletics very well. Jeffers was 4th in both the 1600M and the 800M. Jeffers went 4:35 in the 1600M, which not only set a new MS record, but would have broken the HS record by 4 seconds. Knox went 2:05 in the 800M, which also broke his own school record. Brylee Bateman was 17th in the High Jump. Tedrow was 16th in the High Jump. Thank you for the efforts of our coaches, Erin Bateman and Chloe Davis for pushing these and all of our MS Track athletes this year. With performances like these, we know the future of Loogootee Track & Field is bright.
