(Bicknell, IN - 4/22/26) The JH Track teams headed to North Knox on Wednesday night and the boys finished 2nd and the girls finished 3rd overall in a 4-team meet with North Knox; Bloomfield; and Washington Catholic. The host Warriors won both meets. On the boys side, Knox Jeffers led the way winning the 1600M and 800M runs. Jack Divine was 3rd in the 110M hurdles. Ethan Wildman was 2nd in the 400M and Liam Strange was 5th. Hiram Tedrow was 2nd in the 300M hurdles. Tedrow was also 2nd in 200M; Liam Strange was 4th and Ayden Gilliland is 5th. The Lion 1600M relay team won the relay with a time of 4:22.68. In boys field events, the Lions had two winners. Zach Lyon won the Long Jump and Hiram Tedrow won the High Jump. Ayden Gilliland was 2nd in the Shot Put and 3rd in the Discus. On the girls side, Brylee Bateman won the 300M in a time of 56.16. Kimber Padgett was 2nd in the 110M Hurdles; Ivy Phillips was 3rd in the 100M. Ivy Phillips and Brylee Bateman were 3rd and 4th in the 200M. Barnett was 5th in the 1600M. Shyann Salmon and Emma Jones were 2nd and 3rd in the 400M. Trinity Kerns was 5th in the 800M. The Lions won the 400M relay with a 58.12 time. In girls field events Brylee Bateman won the High Jump with a 4'8" jump. Ivy Phillips was 2nd in the Long Jump. Shyann Salmon was 5th in the Discus.
