Loogootee Jr-Sr High School

(Terre Haute, 4/18/26) The Loogootee Lion golf team braved the rain and the cold to take 3rd place at the Clay City Golf Invite on Saturday. The linksters were 3rd place out of 15 teams at Idle Creek Golf Course in Terre Haute. The weather forced the event to be changed to a 9-hole event. Noah Hager paced the Lions at 6-over. Paxton Arvin was +7; Brendan Green +9; and Garrison Graber and Carter Walton were +16 and +19 respectively. The golf team will be back in action on Monday when they travel to Christmas Lake in Santa Claus to take on Heritage Hills and Pike Central.
