Loogootee Jr-Sr High School

(Dubois, IN - 4/7/26) The Loogootee Lion HS track team traveled to Dubois on Tuesday evening to participate in a four team meet against the host Jeeps; Crawford County; and Springs Valley. The Lions had several great individual performances. Dax Lee won the 200M with a time of 24.66. Lee also finished third in the 100M Dash. Landon Worm was 5th in the 100M behind Lee. Worm also finished 6th in the Long Jump. Broc Kerns finished third for the Lions in the 110M Hurdles. He also finished 5th in the 300M Hurdles. Elijah Brewer had a very strong showing in the 400M and finished in third place. Colt Kerns was third in the 800M run. Kerns was also 5th in the High Jump. Dalton Strange was third in the Shot Put and sixth in the Discus for the Lions. Phoebe Jones finished fourth for the Lady Lion tracksters in the 100M Dash. Jones was also third in the 400M and the Shot Put. Ashlynn Weitkamp finished fourth for the Lady Lions in the 800M run. Weitkamp was also 2nd in the 3200M. The Lions will be back in action tonight when they travel to North Knox for a meet.
