Loogootee Jr-Sr High School

The Loogootee Lady Lions fell to Southridge tonight, 10-0. It was our first game this season we really struggled overall as a team. Tonight we were just missing that fire we’ve had since the start of the season. Good news? It happens to everyone. Bad news? Ours happened tonight. We were putting the ball in play tonight, just right to their defenders. Ava and Lauren both collected a hit on the night, but we just could not get the ball past them or down in a gap. I think Jocelynn, for the 5th game straight, has been put out of an at bat by an ESPN worthy play. Overall, we just struggled tonight in general, but, that’s the game of softball. You win or you learn, tonight we learned more. We are inching closer and closer as a team to having everything start clicking. We face off against Jasper at home on Monday, so we will get prepared for that!
