Loogootee Jr-Sr High School

The JH Lady Lions hosted the North Daviess Lady Cougars at JBA last Saturday. The 7th grade opened the morning, with a competitive game, despite only scoring two first half points. This loss dropped the 7th graders to 12-8 on the season. Ayla Hawkins led the 7th graders in scoring with 6 points, Alyn Strange had 4, and Kori Arvin had 4. The 8th grade Lady Lions got off to a hot start and never let off the gas. The game was highlighted when Addison Moore banked in a shot at the end of the first quarter, from the opposite 3-point line. Taryn Brown led the 8th graders in scoring with 15 points, Addison Moore had 10 points, Kensleigh Carrico, Fara Fisher, and Sydnee Salmon all had 6, Claire Wolfe, Skylyr Raney, and Hattie Humerickhouse each finished with 2 points. This victory made the 8th grade 17-3 on the season.
